How to get Divorced Without Draining Your Wallet

Did you know that you don’t need a lawyer to file for divorce?  In fact, you can do the whole lot yourself using one of our Guides, while the Wizard creates your documentation for you.  Sounds simple – well it is!

If you still want a lawyer to look over your documentation once you’ve used the Wizard, and to give you some personalised advice, you can easily engage your preferred advisor in the platform.  You may have come across an advisor in the Learning Centre that you’d like to speak with.  Many of the advisors post their articles and videos on topics they have extensive knowledge on there and it’s a free resource.  Or you can use the platform to suggest an advisor who practices in family law and is currently online to give that advice for you.

Best of all, the advice is backed by the lawyer’s own professional indemnity insurance, so you can be confident that if the advice can be relied on, and you have a recording of it.  To ensure your advice is kept safe and secured from any other person than you and the advisor, it is encrypted and then stored on your dashboard. So, it’s far more secure than a law firm emailing advice to you. Also, if you want to watch your advice recording several times over to get a full understanding of all of the advice given, then you can do that too.
